Codel Fiberglass, Widths From 4 to 6 Feet

Our SF20F model comes in smooth fiberglass, sized from four to six feet wide to fit most openings without a custom order.

Obscure Glass and Sidelights, Not Just Clear Panes

Choose from patterns like Satin Etch, Chord, and Mistlite to add privacy without blocking light, and extend your opening with sidelights, a transom window, or a 7-foot or 8-foot height upgrade.

Polar Bear Installs Codel Fiberglass by Default

Your French door comes in Codel fiberglass by default, not wood, because fiberglass survives a wet winter here without warping or rotting, finished to still look like real wood without the upkeep wood demands.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my opening is wider than 6 feet or narrower than 4 feet?

Openings outside the standard SF20F range are quoted as a custom order for your home rather than turned away, though Polar Bear typically needs a longer lead time than the four-to-six-foot sizes kept in regular production.

Wood looks right on day one but doesn’t hold up to the rain and wood rot common here. Polar Bear’s fiberglass doors last longer and can still be finished to look like wood, without the maintenance.

Occasionally the surrounding siding or trim has water damage that needs addressing before your new door goes in, and Polar Bear can quote that repair in the same estimate rather than treating it as a separate project.
