Door Installation in Seattle
Match your home with Polar Bear’s Codel fiberglass and steel door installation, from the order through the final install.
Polar Bear Fits the Right Door to Your Opening
Entry, sliding, and French patio doors each solve a different problem. A worn entry door affects your home’s curb appeal and security, a sliding door that’s hard to open usually means the rollers or track have failed, and a French patio door brings a traditional, swinging-door look that a slider can’t match. Whichever type your home needs, we install it to the same standard of fit and finish, matched to your exact opening rather than a close-enough stock size.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if my door opening is a non-standard size?
That’s common in older homes, and it’s exactly why Polar Bear measures your exact opening on site rather than ordering a stock size and hoping it fits. Custom dimensions get built into the order from the start, not adjusted after the fact.
Can Polar Bear install a wood door instead of fiberglass or steel?
Wood doors are available on a bid-only basis rather than kept in standard stock, the same approach used for wood windows. Fiberglass and steel are the default options we install and recommend for this climate, since wood is more prone to warping and rot in sustained Pacific Northwest rain without constant upkeep. If your home’s architecture specifically calls for a wood look, Polar Bear can still source and quote one individually.
Does Polar Bear replace windows during the same project as a door installation?
Yes. Windows and doors are often replaced together during a full exterior refresh, and the same nail flange fit and AAMA-certified crews apply to both, quoted in one estimate instead of two separate visits.
